12th Street Talk Back is about God, faith, and community. Blending Gen Z and Gen X together by rebuilding communication between the two generations with love, respect, and prayer. By also reaching across the table to help in our community with the elderly, as well as speaking on any newsworthy topics along the way.

What is the story or inspiration behind why you started your podcast?

My inspiration for starting my podcast is struggle. My struggle and the community’s struggle with things like dialogue between the generations, building up in our black and brown communities, housing, mental health, and religion. By bridging the gap of communication in families and building up our community leadership. Information is power, and life lessons and stories about your journey through life can help someone else with their struggles. Looking around my community and finally having time to focus, to take off the rose-colored glasses. Victoria J is in help mode. Who, what, when, and how can I help my people? Plus, I love to talk!

What do you enjoy most about podcasting, and what are some challenges?

I love sharing my life experiences and helping women with their struggles of being single parents. I feel a sense of achievement when someone tells me my 𝓜𝓸𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓘𝓷𝓼𝓹𝓲𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 inspired them, and my story resonated with them in a real way.

My challenges have been reaching Gen Z and Gen X in my local community and connecting with like-minded people to connect the two generations on all topics and issues across the board.
