Fallon followed her passion for the art of acting, and it has taken her on a journey that has proved to be limitless.

I would like to introduce you all to Fallon O’Guinn! She is an actress, writer, and singer. She developed a deep love and passion for acting at an early age. You can see her gracing our screens, portraying a variety of roles with so much conviction in films like “Ten Toes Down”,  “Omission”, “Blind Trust”(coming this winter), and more, which can be found on Tubi. Her raw talent and range are a magical concoction that results in mesmerizing scenes. Check out her interview below and learn more!

I understand that during your childhood, your passion for acting was born. Tell us what led to this passion and journey of acting and writing?

I was a really shy kid, and I grew up getting bullied and pushed around, so my parents were my best friends, and music and movies were the way they bonded with me and entertained me because they were all that I had. We would watch movies continuously, and my dad (God rest his soul) would say, “You’re beautiful and creative; you can be a movie star one day!” I wanted to escape into a place where I could be in my own little world, and movies/acting seemed to be the way to do that. I’ve been singing and writing since I was a kid, and paired with my love for film, it’s been a lifelong love affair.

Let’s talk about “Ten Toes Down”! Whew! Listen here!! It was so good!! I was talking to the TV excessively lol! You portrayed that role so beautifully!! Tell us about your character, “Aubrey,” and what was your process like being able to conjure up those intense emotions and bring Aubrey to life?

Every role I’ve played has a piece of me in it. I’m never really acting. I’m usually portraying my own emotions about what that character is trying to convey. Aubrey was a woman who was trying to find her voice and get what she knew she deserved. Her character had been with the same man since high school, so not only was she afraid to break away from the man that she had devoted most of her life to, but she was also battling anxiety and depression! She felt unloved and disrespected, and she wanted more for herself. I think any woman can relate to her character! I know that I could. I wanted to be vulnerable and raw to what she needed, and at the end of the day, that’s my job as an actress.

I’ve seen so many people ranting and raving about this movie all across social media on so many different platforms! It was a masterpiece and executed incredibly well by all parties! How does it feel to be a part of this film, knowing how much people are loving it and loving your gift? How does this ignite your evolution as an actor?

I knew instantly when I read the script and was cast for that role, specifically, that it would catapult my career. I knew that Tonja Ayers was brilliant, so I just had to deliver and bring her vision to life! It’s been so amazing to watch the responses and read the feedback! It feels so surreal. I get so many messages from people, and they call me ‘Aubrey’! and speak to me as if I am her, and THAT is how I know I’ve done my job lol. It feels good to be seen beyond my looks and outer form. I am really selective about the projects and roles I take on, and I knew with “Ten Toes Down” I would be taken seriously and that it would set the bar high! I am loving every minute of it!

Out of all the roles you’ve portrayed thus far, which was your most memorable and why?

I’ve loved all the roles I played (thus far), but one of my most memorable roles is in a film that releases this winter called “Blind Trust”. In this film, I portray a British villain who is a powerful chairman of a pharmaceutical company driven by ego and revenge. In this role, I use my British accent for my character, and that is the part of me that I can’t wait for the world to see and hear! An American actress with a British accent. A dream come true! I play a devious, self-serving woman, and for me, that role stretched me! It will be one for the books!

What dream role do you hope to portray in the future? We are going to claim that right now!

I remember how I felt when I first saw “Losing Isiah” with Halle Berry. This beautiful woman is portraying an addict in distress. That is one of my dream roles. To be bare and in my rawest form. An addict, a homeless person, someone who is trying to climb their way back to something better. I love the art of acting, and I want roles that make me dig for something deeper.

As an actress, you have so much range!! With any craft that we choose, elevation is endless. With all that you’ve accomplished in the entertainment business, what more do you hope to accomplish in the future when it comes to your craft overall?

I hope to do more mainstream films where my work can be seen globally and internationally. I want to shake up the film industry! Maybe I will have my own entertainment / production company one day and release my own films. I am a writer at heart, and I have a couple of scripts I am working on as well. Singing was my first love, so I do want to put out an album next year and shoot a few videos to showcase that! The sky is the limit, and I know that I am on the right path.

When you’re not busy, how are you practicing self-care to maintain your overall well-being?

Watching my favorite shows! I’m a rerun girl! Ha! And journaling. Talking to God. Prayer and Meditation. I’m a homebody. I like to cozy up on my couch in my favorite robe with a cup of coffee, watching movies, and relaxing. Being in the quiet of it all is the way I stay centered and sane.

Before you go, drop a gem or some great advice for our readers out there. Feel free to say whatever compels you. I like to call this section Unpacking Her Thoughts. Let them know, Queen!

I had so many moments where I didn’t feel like I was enough! Until one day, I realized that I am more than enough and that I am the love of my life! We all have a gift; we just must tap into it. Never apologize for putting yourself first! You can’t pour from an empty cup. One of my favorite quotes is “Decide what kind of life you want and say no to everything that isn’t that.” (Unknown). As a woman, you are the greatest project you will ever work on. Be gentle with yourself, and always know you are doing your best!

Thank you so much, Fallon!
