What’s the name of your business, and what does it entail?

Resume Chic (Pronounced Chick)

Specializing in professional development and amplifying written and verbal content by originating authentic connections to targeted audiences for different platforms. Those platforms range from employers, businesses, communities, websites, search engines, radio, social media, and more.

Resume Chic also provides business starter kits and business branding services to small businesses. We deliver powerful wordplay and behavioral stance mastery to boost visibility with marketing tools, professionals, job seekers, entrepreneurs, and social networking.

What’s the story or inspiration behind why you started your business?

I was introduced to and inspired to write by my mother at an early age. I always composed writings, and resumes for others. I got great results! So, here I am now, operating full force in my gift of talent from God.

Since you’ve been on your entrepreneurial journey, what has your experience been like thus far?

It has been a blessed journey that I never saw coming. I am so thankful for the opportunity to make connections, learning, growing, and most importantly, help voices translate power into sustained influence.

When you’re not busy working, how are you practicing self-care and pouring into yourself?

I have a list that’s so long!
I pour into myself as much as I can with praise, worship, affirmations, pampering, exercise, doing nothing at all, treating myself, and spending time with my family and friends. This is a passion, and I advocate for work-life balance all the time on my platform. It is key to alignment.

When it comes to women and our women’s community, what would you like to see more of?

I would love to see collaborations and networking opportunities.
