What is the story or inspiration behind why you started your podcast?

My inspiration and motivation comes from being a single mother of three. I have encountered so many interruptions in my life that I felt it was time to share my stories, not only to help but to encourage others. I knew it was time to empower women and help them love themselves all over again. It’s time to adjust those crowns and walk like the QUEENS we were born to be.

What do you enjoy most about podcasting, and what are some challenges?

When you ask me what I enjoy the most about podcasting, I sometimes find that to be the most difficult question to answer because I enjoy everything, but if I had to choose what I like the most, it would have to be how transparent and vulnerable I am with each episode. I used to be so introverted, but I am learning to love who I have become, not only as a woman but as a mother and friend.

Some of the challenges that I have faced are the lack of support from others, but no matter who shows up, I will continue to show up for myself. Another challenge I have encountered is marketing and the financial means to promote my brand, but I am learning to budget to have the freedom to pivot my podcast in the direction I would like to see it go.

Thank you so much Ashlee!
