Making BOSS Moves with Channell!

I would like to introduce you all to Channell Royal! She is a Certified Life Coach and the CEO of Coach Me Royally, LLC. Recently, I received the opportunity to interview her! Check it out below!

Where are you from?

Orlando, Florida born and raised.

What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Well, I’d say what inspired me was the lack of individuality in my full-time career. I’ve worked since the year 2000 and have always thought of having my own business.

Tell us about the work that you do and what’s your why?

What I do is help women transition through the stages of their lives that are often hard to identify. I also help them develop a healthy relationship with themselves, regardless of their relationship status. The reason I accepted the call to do this is because I realized that I am a woman who is considered to be high performing. I wear a few hats, to say the least, and I learned a lot through my life transition from being over 30 and realizing that I expected someone to save me from myself, and when no one did, I was bitter, resentful, and closed off.

I want to show other high-performing women that when you have Coach Channell there with you to partner you through those dark times, you will one day realize that because your relationship with yourself is healthier and whole, everyone that you once put before you becomes secondary, and you evolve.

What challenges have you been met with while maneuvering entrepreneurship, and how did you overcome?

Oh my, challenges? A lot! I was challenged by the fear of having a business! Weird right? I was also challenged with slowing down enough to understand what I needed to know to start my entrepreneurial journey.

In those moments when it gets hard, how do you manage to keep going?

Whew! When it gets hard in business, I most often rely on my discipline to push myself through that moment, and other times I take a break and do something that makes me happy but doesn’t require a lot of thinking. As I journey through life, I learn more and more about myself, so knowing how I am when I’m strong and when I’m weak helps me manage hard times.

When it comes to women, our women’s community, what would you like to see more of?

Great question! I’d like to see more women doing their thang in life! I mean things like managing the mind, putting yourself first, and living life freely. I believe UnpackingHer Magazine is so needed and necessary. Highlighting another woman shows strength and courage!
