Where are you from?

Southside of Macon, Georgia

What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Helping others perfect their imperfections in order to feel better about themselves has always made me happy. Self-love was something that I used to struggle with, and once I found it, it brought me so much peace. I want others to have that peace as well.

Tell us about the work that you do, and what’s your why?

I do everything esthetic, such as facials, waxing, cosmetic teeth whitening, and body contouring. I also help with small business startups and bartending. I used to have my own makeup line, and I used to see so many using makeup to cover bad skin. So I went to esthetician school to learn skincare to be able to help people use makeup as an option instead of a necessity. I’ve helped so many improve their skin, and it brings me joy to see how happy they are with clearer skin. I learned how to start businesses to be able to help others and teach them, so they wouldn’t have to spend large amounts of money on something they could do themselves. Bartending was just something fun that I learned and enjoyed.

What challenges have you been met with while maneuvering entrepreneurship, and how did you overcome?

The lack of support and motivation. Every time something challenging comes up, something good happens behind it that reminds me why I started and why I should keep going. Seeing others happy is what pushes me to go harder.

In those moments when it gets hard, how do you manage to keep going?

I pray! I ask God for the strength and motivation needed to keep going. No matter how hard it gets, giving up is not an option.

When it comes to women, our women’s community, what would you like to see more of?

Women coming together to support each other. I believe that women are powerful and have a spirit of strength like no other. When we come together wholeheartedly, we are stronger and more powerful, both mentally and physically.
